Another beautiful day in Dallas. Another beautiful baby and family. This family is one of my "baby planners", meaning I get to hang out with them several times over the next year, documenting baby girl's growth along the way.

Sweet, baby Annie was a gorgeous newborn and just gets prettier and prettier each week! Gotta love those bright blue eyes, long reddish lashes, and melt your heart smile. Mom and Dad are pretty cute too! ;)

It doesn't get any more "picture perfect" than this, folks. 70 degree weather...check. Gorgeous park...check. Amazing light...check. Ridiculously adorable family...check. A QUEEN...check!

I had the pleasure of hanging out with this Party of 5 on Sunday afternoon. And, wowsers. Such naturals in front of the camera! Take a look for your self.

Up first...the teenager. I guessed her age and was off by like 2 years. Umm...I was still shrimpy and awkward at 13. Yes, people. She's 13. Gorgeous, huh?


Next, the sweet middle child. Lover of all things Bakugan (because, I was informed that 7 year olds aren't really into princesses these days...I have a lot to learn). And, just as stunning as her older sister.


And then we have the little one...who wants to be the QUEEN. Or correction, who is the queen! Unlike her big sister, she is TOTALLY into princesses, which I know all about (my 3 year old would like for us to call her Cinderella). I fell in love with this girly girl's chipmunk cheeks and sweet demeanor.

What a fun day! My assistant (who also happens to be the most awesome sister out there...well, except for me :D), Randi, and I had an awesome day today with 5 adorable, hilarious and entertaining families. Phew! First off--a quick announcement. I am officially BOOKED for the 2009 holiday season. I will only be accepting newborn sessions for the remainder of 2009 (previously scheduled sessions excluded). Thanks so much for making 2009 the best ever for Kristie Clark Photography. I've enjoyed every minute!

Now, on to the sneak peek. This lovely mommy and I met when our precious 3 year olds were born. We belonged to the same baby board (though she was a few months ahead of me due date wise) and realized we lived in the same town. Life got in the way of us actually meeting until last year when we met up with me for a holiday mini-session. The D family has grown up so much in that year and we met up again for another holiday mini-session!

Thanks for being patient! Here are a couple of peeks. The one of the kids just cracks me up! Love the baby's face! :D

Over the last 2 years (wow--2 years already), I've had the opportunity to meet all kinds of amazing and wonderful families. I love capturing these moments and I always leave my sessions feeling so good...even if the session was a tough one! But, I'll tell ya--nothing feels better as a photographer than when you have a client that keeps coming back or refers you to their friends over and over again. And the R family makes me feel AWESOME! This is my 6th session with the R Family! Wowza. Talk about loyalty. I <3 them! We had a fun time this morning capturing the classic holiday picture and then it was all about Miss R who turns 4 in December! Enjoy your sneak peek, R family!

Goodness! I don't think a day could get more perfect than this. The weather outside was amazing. Location was perfect. Family--gorgeous! Had a wonderful time in the sunshine with this lovely family today. You may recognize a few of them from baby AC's newborn session. Now, she's 6.5 months and just as sweet as she was as a newborn. Another holiday mini-session from this weekend! I got a call on Friday afternoon that this session *might* not happen. The little guy took a tumble at the fair and had to have 8 stitches in his chin! Poor thing. But, he was super brave and gave me some great smiles even though he was probably really uncomfortable. And the little girl was a tough sell, but nothing that my crazy dancing couldn't break. Remember, you PROMISED not to tell anyone about my dancing skills from 1997. ;)

On a sneak peek roll tonight! After my morning session (below), I booked it down to Highland Park for this fun family session. I've known this sweet family for a little over 2 years now--mom was one of my daughter's teachers and little E was one of my pre-k students a few years back. It's always fun to see them outside of school and today was certainly no exception. They are so cute and funny--I've even got some grrrrreeeeat shots of the girls doing their best America's Next Top Model poses! Ha! You'll have to save those for the wedding day, Jen! ;) Here are your sneak peeks. The last one gave me goosebumps and had me rolling all at the same time when it popped up on my screen as I was uploading these!!!!

After a week straight of rain, the flood gates FINALLY closed (seriously, I was about to build my own personal arc) and just in time for my fabulous session this morning in Highland Park. Happy Labor Day! I got to spend an hour this morning with this adorable family. I've known Daddy Lav for about 10 years now, but we lost touch over the years and thanks to that awesome and addicting social networking forum known as Facebook, we reconnected. Mama Lav is so sweet and kind and Baby Lav has both her parents' laid back and cool demeanor. They were so calm and collected...even when my camera started giving me some crazy error message toward the end of our session. Thankfully, we'd already captured some memory gold!
