Dallas baby photographer, Dallas child photographer: Sneak Peek--Before the Rain

Just mere minutes after this session ended, it started raining. Originally, we had this session scheduled for 5:30 pm. When the weather here in Dallas turned overcast and chilly (well, chilly for Texas), I emailed mom and said we could shoot whenever. Good thing too because it was near dark at 5:30 tonight!

Meet little miss L. She's 3 months and sweet as pie. Daddy's girl, that's for sure! She has the biggest, sparkly blue eyes (yes, sparkly is a word). And she makes an adorable teddy bear or pumpkin--you choose! Enjoy your sneak peek!

I met up with this capital A-dorable family this morning at Prairie Creek Park. Their sweet new addition is only 7 weeks and mom and dad wanted some new family portraits to show their growing family. Dallas Family Photographer: Blue skies

This morning, I woke up thinking "Ugh. Another session I have to reschedule because of the stupid rain." Seriously, we've had like 10+ inches of rain here in the last month. It's insane! I drove over to one of my favorite locations to check it out before my session with the M family. It was muddy, but not terrible. I let Mom know what the conditions were like and we decided to go with it. I'm glad we did! The weather was gorgeous, had some yummy light to work with, and I got to meet a great family. I had the pleasure of shooting these 2 handsome dudes this morning. Z is 3 and A is 9 months (and the reason for the session). They were all boy and loved the dirt, grass, and watching the turtles in the creek. We had a great time this morning! Enjoy your sneak peek, T family and we'll talk soon. :)

Sneak Peek: Randi and Madee

This is my beautiful little sister, Randi and her 3.5 year old daughter. Randi helped me out in a big way yesterday, serving as kiddo corral patrol during my mini-sessions. As a thank you, we did a mini-session today and I'll put her Christmas cards together too. Don't tell her, but I probably would've done them anyway. ;)

Sneak Peek: F family

Last one for tonight, folks!

This family was the lucky winner of my blog contest earlier this fall. Congrats! At first, we weren't real sure how things were going to play out as the little E-monkey wasn't too keen on staying in one spot. However, my awesome assistant (who is really just my sister, but assistant sounds so professional AND I'm paying her) came to the rescue by playing peek a boo with an Elmo puppet behind my head. It even got the 4 year old giggling. Love that!

Look at these cutie pies--J and M. Both are just sweet, sweet children. Must be mom and dad's calm demeanor coming out! These kiddos didn't make a peep the whole time, even with the chill in the air and the waiting time at the "sweet spot". Here are your sneak peeks!

This is my 4th time to "shoot" this family. We always have a great time and today was no exception. I can't get over that chunky monkey--lil G is almost 4 months and is SOLID. Goodness, can't you just eat him up! And big sister is very proud of her lil' brother and pretty adorable too.
