Dallas photographer: Sneak peek, 5 years in the making...

When Kristin emailed me in December, I immediately thought "WHY DIDN'T I DO THAT?!?". Travis and Kristin just celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. Cute baby alert! Cute baby alert!

Little Miss Lindsay is already 6 months old--you might recognize her cherub cheeks and bright blue eyes from THIS session we did in October. We met on an absolutely PERFECT day this past weekend (seriously--15 degrees 1 weekend and 70 the next???) in downtown McKinney. Lindsay is growing like a weed and sitting up so big and tall! It's amazing how quickly they change.

Whew! It's been a crazy, crazy, CRAZY few weeks. I am literally keeping the Starbucks near my house in business these days. So, it was totally fitting that I had some wild and crazy kids this morning (the good kind of wild and crazy...you know--life of the party, fun kind) AND that as their dad stopped in for some coffee this morning, one of the boys asked for coffee and to "Be sure it's decaf!" LOL! Too hysterical.

Anyway, I just adore this sweet group of kids. The baby boy was a little under the weather this morning and I'm sure we were QUITE a sight getting him to smile, but I think Nana and company will be happy with the results of our singing, dancing, and airplane flying. Another one-year-old! G-man and I go waaaaay back. Like all the way to a year ago! And now, he's the big ONE. And oh my, has he grown...his adorable rocker t-shirt was a 2T. Love me a chunky baby!

We had a GREAT time in downtown McKinney this evening, which is where I shot G-man's mommy's maternity photos last year. Fitting, huh? This is one of my favorite families and I always leave with a smile on my face after hanging out with them.

Dallas Children's Photographer: Sneak Peek-Look who's 1!

Look at this cutie pie with the feathery lashes and the toothy grin! This little guy always has to share the spotlight with his big brother, so I'm sure he was lovin' all the personal attention we paid him this morning in downtown McKinney! We had a great 1 year session. There must've been something in the water a year and nine months ago because I have THREE 1-year-old sessions in the next few months. ;)

Dallas Children's Photographer: Sniff, sniff...

My baby girl turns 3 next week! THREE! I can't believe it. It seems like only yesterday she was a cuddly little preemie, keeping me up at all hours of the night and worrying me sick over things like how many wet diapers she had that day or how much weight she was (or wasn't) gaining. Now, she worries me sick over things like refusing to hold my hand in the parking lot, potty training (99% there), and lots and lots of "choices". She's a spitfire, full of life, and looks so much like her Daddy, it's unreal. <3

You'd think that I would have all the patience in the world since a) I'm a Kindergarten teacher by day and b) I take kids' pictures ALL THE TIME. But, this little session only lasted about 15 minutes as Mama (aka me) was lacking patience and Lil Mama (aka Grace) was lacking the desire to be photographed. We'll give this another go on a better morning. ;)

She thought it was HILARIOUS that I was getting so irritated with her antics. Guess it was worth something, huh?

Sneak Peek: S&G

Had a fun time with these absolutely GORGEOUS kiddos this morning! Little Miss G is a lot like my G--everything has to be her idea and she loves to exert her independence. I'm pretty sure I read that these are the kind of women that run Fortune 500 companies. :) Plus, with eyes like these, she's sure to be a success!
